  • ​All dancers, regardless of years at the studio, are invited and eligible for special awards!
  • Students who have studied dance at CDDS for 5 years or more receive a medal.
  • Students who have studied dance at CDDS for 10 years or more receive a medal and trophy.
  • Dance For Art scholarships are presented.
  • Special recognition is given to our Company Graduating Seniors & their parents.
  • We will have a 50/50 Raffle at each banquet AND Door Prizes!
  • Induction to the Banana Split Club for dancers who can “do a split” is held.
  • New this year:  Coffee Grinder Club!  Dancers that can do 5 coffee grinders in a row! 
CDDS Dancers of 5 years or more, submit Awards Banquet Form by February 1.

Banquet Tickets

TICKETS ON SALE: TBA
(at all CDDS offices during regular studio hours)
$10/ticket adult or child. Cash or checks to Dance For Art Inc.
  • All dancers need a ticket. 
  • Tickets are limited and will not be sold at the door.  Purchase by TBA
  • This event is open seating (there are no assigned seats).  All dancers will sit together.
  • Per Fire Code, all attendees, regardless of age, or if sitting on a lap, must purchase a ticket.
This is a FUNdraising banquet in celebration of our dancers.

Grand March Production at Awards Banquets

Dancers Level 1 and up who learned the Grand March in their class, regardless if they are receiving a medal or not, are invited to perform in the Grand March.

1.  TBA:  Mandatory Rehearsal for the Grand March is at the Warwick Studio, 4:30-6:00.  If you cannot attend this rehearsal, you cannot perform in the Grand March on Sunday.
What to wear to this rehearsal:  Your regular dance clothes and jazz shoes.  Dancers should not bring a dance bag to rehearsal.

*Dancers performing in the Student Showcase will be running through their routines.  They should bring their costumes, but do not need to wear makeup or have their hair done.

2.  Sunday, April 7, 2019 Arrive to Bishop Hendricken Theater 50 minutes before your scheduled Banquet.  Please do not be late.  We want to give dancers as much time as possible to rehearse. 

Families may enter the theater 20 minutes before the start of the banquet.  The banquets start with the Grand March.  Please be sure to tell friends and family not to be late!  We wouldn't want them to miss the opening routine! 

Tickets will be sold for our 50/50 Raffle to benefit Dance For Art before the start of each banquet!  Bring some extra pocket cash to purchase tickets.  
All Dancers arrive in :
  • RED CDDS tshirt (you should have purchased this already. If you haven't, be sure to buy one on Saturday...limited sizes are left!)
  • Black pants
  • Black shoes (And black socks if you're not wearing tan tights underneath your pants and you can see your ankles)
Please give dancer their ticket to enter the banquet.

Girls:  
  • Light makeup
  • Small earrings
  • Hair pulled away from face (a ponytail, braids, a bun, just as long as it's not getting in the way of the dancer's way!)
  • Feel free to wear festive coordinating hair accessories
Please leave coats, bags etc. with parents.
Dancers performing in the Student Showcase should take their costume, shoes and accessories they may need.  We will put their items backstage.

3.  Sit back, relax and enjoy our Awards Banquet and Student Showcase in celebration of our DANCERS.  Join us in the Cafeteria immediately following the banquet for light refreshments.
