DFA Fundraiser


Dance For Art Fundraiser: Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza @ 220 HILLSIDE ROAD, CRANSTON, RI, US 02920 on August 1, 2023 at 11:00am-9:00pm!
If you're unable to attend and want to donate to DFA - donations always accepted via PayPal
  • Customer must mention to server they are dining to support the cause - Dance For Art
  • 20% of proceeds go to DFA!
  • Dine-in, carry-out, catering, and all alcohol sales are included towards donation amount. Donation does not include sales tax or gratuity
  • Maximum group size of 50 guests at a time.
  • In addition to dine-in, supporters can participate in this fundraiser by Take out and Pick up. Orders can be placed via: Phone Call, Restaurant Website, Storefront Walk-in

Arrival: Tuesday, August 1 @ Garden City Gazebo, Cranston RI


  • Performance location: The Gazebo, Garden City Center, Cranston RI
  • All dancers be at  The Gazebo in full costume by 5:40pm. Slides over dance shoes or dance shoes in hand.
    • Company & Hippity Hop Crew arrive in black leggings and warmup jacket over first costume. Remove by 5:50pm and give all belongings to parents except a water.
    • Preschool/Primary, drop off dancer with Staff. Dancers will go to parent after they perform.
    • Contact the Studio Google Line if you need any assistance 401-288-1232. This line is only active 1 hour before the performance.
  • We have an EZ up changing area for dancers in multiple routines.
  • Leave all  non performance belongings with parents.

What to Wear

Company/Hippity Hop Crew
  • Arrive in black leggings and warmup jacket over first costume.
  • Full stage makeup, performance rhinestone earrings, Pee Wee and up wear false eyelashes, Lipstick: MAC-Red, MAC-Russian Red or Sephora cream liquid lipstick-Always Red
  • Hair in a low bun, center part, slicked back
  • Dancers in multiple routines wear full camisole *REQUIRED (NOT CAMI BRA), bring SMALL bag with costumes/shoes.
  • Bring a small  water bottle.
  • No jewelry, no underwear, no nail polish. Remove BEFORE arriving.

Preschool/Primary 
  • Recital costume
    • Poodle in Paris- Hair in low slicked back bun, stage makeup, Pink costume, pink feathery headpiece place to the right of the bun, Pink tights, Pink ballet shoes, no jewelry, no underwear, no nail polish (see photo below)
    • I Like to Move It- Hair in low slicked back bun, stage makeup, Pink/magenta costume (photo below shows Red), Magenta bow headpiece place to the right of the bun, Pink tights, Pink ballet shoes, no jewelry, no underwear, no nail polish (see photo below)
  • Pink tights
  • Pink ballet shoes
  • Stage makeup (brown eyeshadow, black mascara, pink blush, bright red lipstick (Rockettes wear: MAC-Red, MAC-Russian Red, Sephora cream liquid lipstick-Always Red)
  • Boys: light stage makeup that they are comfortable wearing. Hair combed back out of face, costume over white t shirt and black athletic pants, black socks, black ballet shoes

  • Poodles in Paris -  Cranston Saturday Preschool
  • I Like To Move It - Cranston Monday/Smithfield Monday Primary

Dancers must meet the following 3 criteria in order to perform:
  1. Enrolled in 2023-2024 season class by July 22
  2. Enroll in Gazebo class by July 22
    • "Gazebo I Like To Move It Primary" or "Gazebo Poodles In Paris Preschool"
    • Session: "Summer 2023"
  3. Have your full costume and all pieces. (see below)

We will run through routine upon arrival before the performance.
