All three CDDS locations have passed inspection by the DBR Covid Task Force. We are proud to be able to provide a safe happy place for our dancers. Thank you for your trust and dedication to our CDDS family.

CDDS is following all Covid government guidelines in order to remain open and staff are ready to take care of your children's needs and safety while inside the Studio! Class curriculums have been adapted and smaller class sizes created for social distancing and mask wearing.

Notify us immediately if any of the following Covid-19 related items apply and do not attend class: (See bottom of page for details.)
  • If a student tests positive for Covid-19. We must follow the RIDOH protocol. Any classes they attended within 48 hours of their first symptom will be notified and must quarantine and be tested.
  • If a student is exposed to someone who tests positive for Covid-19.
  • If someone in your household is sick and getting tested for Covid-19.
  • If a student isn't feeling well.
  • If a student travels to a state with current RI travel restrictions. See website for list of states.
Know before you go:
  • It is of utmost important that no one enter the Studio if they have any sick symptoms. Students and staff must pass the Screening Tool to enter.
  • Only students and Staff are permitted inside the Studio. Bathrooms are available for use by dancers and Staff only. Mommy & Me parents are considered dancers and will stay with their child at all times :)
  • There is no use of changing areas. Students must arrive ready for class.
  • Take temperature and review screening tool before attending each class.
  • All students and staff must wear masks at all times inside the Studio, during class, and when lined up outside upon exiting vehicle.
    • Neck gaiters and bandanas not permitted.
  • Always line up outside 5 minutes before your class begins, don't wait to be called in.

  • Regardless of outside socialization, social distancing must be maintained at all times while at the Studio. Please follow all protocols set up inside and outside the building as we must uphold our COVID-19 Control Plan.
  • Absent students may make up in available online classes. In-Studio makeups are not permitted due to Covid guidelines.
  • Preschool/Primary Parents: With social distancing requirements, it is important that in-Studio students can change their own shoes and use the bathroom on their own. Please have your child practice independently putting on and off their own Ballet and Tap shoes, taking their own leotard and tights off and on when using the bathroom, and being comfortable wearing a mask for the duration of class. Parents are not permitted inside the Studio.
Do before you go:
  • Review Screening Tool every time you are coming to the Studio- if you answer Yes to any of the questions, do not come. Call your Studio location to notify of absence. *It is important this Screening Tool is taken most seriously and honestly.

  • Bring student to the bathroom and change into dance clothes at home before coming to the Studio.  We want to limit bathroom usage and crossing paths as much as possible.  The bathroom is available for emergencies, but if we can avoid the "potty parade" we would like to try :)
