Arrival

  • Performance location: TBD at Seven Cedars Farms. We will send specifics when we receive it.
  • Company dancers arrive stage ready 20 minutes before the show. Black leggings and warmup jacket over first costume. Remove 5 minutes before show and give all belongings to parents.
  • Preschool/Primary arrive stage ready 10 minutes before the show.  Tap shoes on by 5 minutes before show.  Students stay with parent until their routine performs, then they go immediately back to parent after their routine.
  • Leave plenty of time for parking and finding our performance area so you are not late.
  • Contact the Studio Google Line if you need any assistance day of the show 401-288-1232. This line is only active 1 hour before the performance.

What to Wear

Preschool/Primary 
  • Preschool, Pump Up The Jam - Girls Tap: pink sparkle fringe, pink sparkle bow on right side of bun, pink tights, black tap shoes. Boys Tap: black jazz pants, black shirt, gold and black sequin vest.
  • Primary, Mony Mony- Girls Tap: multi color fringe biketard, multi colored bow on right side of bun, pink tights, black tap shoes. Boys Tap: black jazz pants, yellow short sleeve shirt.
  • Hair in a low bun, center part, slicked back.
  • Stage makeup: Girls- (brown eyeshadow, black mascara, pink blush, bright red lipstick (Suggested lipstic: MAC-Red, MAC-Russian Red, Sephora cream liquid lipstick-Always Red). Boys: light stage makeup that they are comfortable wearing, or none if not comfortable. Hair combed back out of face,

Company
  • Costume and accessories, tan tights, appropriate dance shoes, camisole if changing costumes (We  have a changing tent).
  • Full stage makeup, rhinestone earrings. 
    • Required lipstick: MAC-Red, MAC-Russian Red or Sephora cream liquid lipstick-Always Red
    • PW/Rhy/Jr/Sr false eyelashes.
  • Hair in a low bun, center part, slicked back (Power - high ponytail)
  • Arrive in warmup jacket and black leggings on over costume, unless first routine has pants wear those.
  • Slides/easy slip on shoes over dance shoes. Don't wear dance shoes on ground as much as possible.

Remember: You are representing CDDS when out in public at an event or when wearing CDDS merch. The behavior and harmony clause applies. Always be kind and respectful to others, smile and have a positive attitude :)

Cranston Spring Fest Sunday May 19
