2024 COMPANY RECITAL WEEKEND TIMELINE
ADDED

• Dressing Rooms:
  • Student Commons: Closed Class, Preparatory and Pee Wee Companies may bring rack and rolls. They are not required.
  • Backstage Green Rooms: Rhythmette, Junior and Senior Companies cannot bring rack and rolls. There are racks built into the room.
• Closed and Preparatory wear tan tights under camisole, put pink tights on and off over.

PLEASE NOTE

• All performers must check in both days. 
• We are on a strict time schedule per our rental agreement, do not enter sooner, but do not be late.
• Closed/Preparatory/Pee Wee - one parent receive wristband at check-in each day. Show wristband at pickup after the show in Student Commons dressing room.
• Rhy/Jr/Sr parents do not check-in dancers or get wristband or go to dressing room after show. Dancers will meet you in the lobby.
• PW/Rhy/Jr/Sr Dancers may leave belongings overnight. EP and CDDS are not responsible for lost or stolen items.
• PW/Jr/Sr - At end of Show 5 return & sign-in DFA items and pack up belongings before seeing family in lobby.
  • Spider-Man mask, Libertango glove, Little Bird hat, Ease On Down mitts, Girls headband
• Demonstrators wear warmup jacket, black leggings, black jazz shoes to pick up dancers in lobby.
• No photos in dressing room because people are changing. Please respect this privacy policy.
• No leaving the building once arrive until noted dismissal.
• Water/clear drinks only.
• IMPORTANT: Nut allergy safe food only. No messy/smelly/crumbly food. Dancers in multiple shows bring healthy lunch to eat between. Dancers there for one show do not bring food.

DAY 1 SATURDAY JUNE 22, 2024
Show 1, 11am
8:00am Rhy/Jr/Sr arrive- hair/makeup done (no lipstick). Warmup jacket and black leggings
over black leotard/camisole/tights, no costume.
8:15-10:15am Rhy Jr Sr on stage Warmup & Rehearsal (All routines, specialty TBD)
10:00am Closed Class arrive in Jazz costume - Lined up at check-in table stage ready.Warmup
jacket and black leggings on over costume, no lipstick on (bring your own lipstick)
10:15-10:45am  Closed Class on stage block rehearsal
10:25am Demonstrators in lobby to bring recreational students to dressing room.
11am Show starts
After Show:

• Closed Class dismissed unless in HHC- Parent with wristband pick up at Student Commons dressing room. 
• Rhy/Jr/Sr stay in dressing room - parents not permitted backstage.

Show 2, 1:30pm
12:15pmPreparatory, Pee Wee & Hippity Hop Crew Rec arrive hair/makeup done (no lipstick).
Warmup jacket and black leggings on over costume (Prep = Tap, PW = Contemporary, HHC =
1st costume), no lipstick on (bring your own lipstick)
12:45-1:15pm PeeWee/Preparatory/Hippity Hop Crew on stage blocking rehearsal
12:55pm Demonstrators in lobby to bring recreational students to dressing room.
1:30pm Show starts
After Show:

• Pee Wee dismissed unless in HHC- Can leave belongings, Parent with wristband pick up at Student Commons dressing room. 
• Rhy/Jr/Sr stay in dressing room- parents not permitted backstage. 
• Prep see family in lobby then return to dressing room by 3:15pm.

Show 3, 4pm
3:15-3:30pm Jack In The Box rehearsal on stage
After Show:

• Preparatory parent with wristband pick up at Student Commons dressing room
• Rhy/Jr/Sr can leave belongings in dressing room. CDDS staff must approve your cleaned up area before dismissal. 

DAY 2 SUNDAY JUNE 23, 2024
8:30AM/8:45-9:45am- Alumni Arrival/Rehearsal in auditorium. Go to Student Commons dressing
room after rehearsal.

Show 4, 11am
9-9:45am Junior/Senior arrival and bonding time in dressing room :)
9:30am Rhy, Diamonds, Jack In The Box Arrival- What to wear same as Day 1
9:45-10:15am Rhy Jr Sr, Diamonds warmup on stage
10:15-10:25am   Diamonds rehearsal on stage
10:25am Demonstrators in lobby to bring recreational students to dressing room.
11:00am Show starts
After Show:

• All Company stay in dressing room or see family in lobby and return by 12:55pm. Parents not permitted backstage.
• Clean up your dressing room before Show 5 so you can be dismissed and see your family asap.

Show 5 1:30pm
12:55pm Demonstrators in lobby to bring recreational students to dressing room. 1pm Rec arrive

After Show:

• First, return/sign-in DFA costumes, pack up belongings, clean up your dressing room and get staff dismissal approval. Then, go see your family with all of your belongings.
• Leave your space better than you found it. There should not be anything left on the ground but the happiness left behind from your dancing 🙂
• Everyone must be out of the building by 3:30pm.

It's been a joy to witness your growth and artistry on the dance floor. Here's to celebrating your achievements and looking forward to many more memorable moments ahead!
