Private Lessons

CDDS offers private and semi-private lessons for serious students ages 6+ seeking individualized technique training.
Lessons available in Ballet, Pointe (if already en pointe), Tap, Jazz, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Acrobatics, Strength & Conditioning.
  • Private lessons are  wonderful for dancers who  love to dance and want to improve on their skills! 
  • They are ideal for students who are motivated to progress to the next class level, preparing for a Company Audition and current Company dancers who are working towards going en Pointe.
  • Small groups of 2-4 students are encouraged.
  • Email requests (see below). Lessons are booked from earliest time spot first. Spots available until reserved with payment.

Private Lessons How To : Arrive on time. Arrive wearing CDDS dress code. Bring all dance shoes. Only students and staff permitted in Studio.

You will receive a reply with availability based on your request. We will do our best to meet your first preferences :) Faculty, schedule and location will be arranged individually based on availability.

Rates & Payment

Private Lesson - 1 Student
  • 45 minutes - $45
  • 60 minutes - $55

Semi-Private Lesson - 2 Students
  • 45 minutes - $30/student
  • 60 minutes - $35/student

Small Group Lesson - 3-4 Students
  • 45 minutes - $22/student
  • 60 minutes - $28/student

Semi-private and small group lessons are available to students of a comparable level, as approved by CDDS staff.
Siblings receive 5% off each dancer's lesson fee.

Payments: 
  • Payment due upon confirmation of lesson. Primary credit card on file will be charged.
  • Monthly payments in full is preferred for ongoing lessons. 
  • No refunds.

Cancellation Policy:
  • Notify Studio via email and phone immediately if you need to cancel. 
  • No credit  available if late cancel within 48 hours of lesson.
  • Payment available as credit to account for future use if cancel at least 48 hours in advance. 
  • No refunds.
  • If an instructor is unavailable, a substitute may be provided and the lesson will still take place. If we are unable to provide a substitute, the lesson will be rescheduled at no additional cost.
