Hippity Hop Crew

Auditions for 2024-2025 season take place in the month of September.

Hippity Hop Crew for ages 6 to 11 is designed for students who have a passion and talent for hip-hop dancing and performing! Perform at events throughout the season and the Recital.
Interested students should register for the Hippity Hop Crew Audition class held in September. Students must be able to attend all classes. Evaluation is held throughout the month and audition takes place at the final class. Regular tuition rates apply. Click Here
Students will receive acceptance letters via email by September 30.
If accepted, students attend class weekly October through June, Thursdays 6:45-7:45pm at Cranston Studio. Regular tuition rates apply. Click Here
A costume is purchased for a fee.
Dancers must have good attendance and be prepared to focus, work hard, and have fun!
Auditions are held every September. Students must re-audition each season.

Class

Good attendance is expected.
More than three absences will effect status in HHC and performances.
Warmup, Strength, Conditioning, Hip Hop Progressions, Combinations, Some Acro/Tumbling/Tricks
Dancers will learn numerous routines to be performed throughout the season.

Dress Code

Clothes you can move in, sneakers that were not worn outside, hair pulled back. Dress Hip Hop!
No Short Shorts
Dancers may bring a water bottle to class.

Performances

Select dancers are cast for small groups to perform at community performances (ie. seasonal festivals, Garden City gazebo, etc). Groups vary by artistic and logistical reasons. Not all dancers will be used for all performances.
ALL Dancers will perform in the Recital. Note: If students are in multiple classes, Hippity Hop Crew may perform in a different show than their other class, or multiple shows.
