Dance, music and arts & crafts designed around a theme make for a fun and educational time at CDDS vacation dance camps! Something for all dancers ages 3-10.  A great way to continue dance skills over vacation with a bunch of fun activities including a performance for families on the last day! Camps are held in February, April and Summer.
Must be potty trained.

April Dance Camp

Tuesday April 21 -Thursday April 23 @ Warwick Studio
Ages 3-5 (Preschool)  9:00-10:30am, $85 (Potty trained.)  Theme: Zootopia
Welcome to a wild week of movement, imagination, and fun at our Zootopia Dance Camp! Designed especially for little movers ages 3–5, this playful camp brings the exciting world of Zootopia to life through dance, creativity, and exploration.
Each day, campers will step into the shoes (or paws!) of their favorite animal characters.
Ages 5-10 (Primary, Level 1, Level 2) 10:45am-1:45pm, $135 Theme: Celebrating 20 years of High School Musical
Get your head in the game and join us for a week of dancing, and superstar fun at our High School Musical Dance Camp! Inspired by the energy and excitement of all 3 movies, this camp is perfect for kids ages 5–10 who love to move, create, and perform.

Company Audition Prep Workshop Ages 7-12 

Summer Audition
A new 3-day Company Audition Prep Workshop designed to help dancers feel confident and prepared for summer auditions. Dancers will experience a Company-level class and mock audition process. Open to non-Company dancers considering auditioning and current Young Company dancers planning to re-audition. Attendance does not guarantee Company acceptance.

Arrival/Pickup & What to Bring
  • Doors open 5 minutes before class starts. Parents drop off dancers at the front door and pickup at back door under red awning.
  • Put Ballet shoes on upon arrival and remove everything but leotard and tights.
  • Bring  sealable water bottle and healthy nut allergy friendly snack.
  • See dress code for shoes and other approved dance wear.
  • Waiting room is used by campers and only available to  staff and students.

Dress Code:
Girls:
  • Hair in a neat and secure bun.
  • Solid Black Leotard (short sleeve or long sleeve)
  • Capezio transition tights pink
  • So Danca split sole ballet slippers leather pink (SD-60L)
  • Capezio jazz shoes caramel (EJ2-C)
  • Capezio Mary Jane tap shoes Caramel (3800)
  • Solid black high waisted dance/compression shorts or leggings (no writing/rhinestones/etc.)
  • (Optional) Black knit Ballet shrug + light pink calf leg warmers (Leg warmers should be light pink to match tights, plain knit with no tassels, flowers, things hanging off, etc.)
Boys: White athletic T-shirt, Black athletic pants or shorts in warm weather, Black ballet shoes, Black tap shoes, Hair neatly out of face

February Dance Camp

Something for all dancers ages 3-10.  A great way to make dance friends and continue their skills over vacation with a bunch of fun activities! Camp culminates with a presentation - two guests per dancer are invited!

Tuesday February 17-Thursday February 19 @ Warwick Studio

Summer Dance Camp

Dance, music and arts & crafts designed around fun themes make for a fun and educational time at CDDS 4-Day Summer Vacation Dance Camps! Something for all dancers ages 3-10.  A great way to make dance friends and continue their skills over vacation with a bunch of fun activities! Camp culminates with a presentation - two guests per dancer are invited!
  • Preschool must be potty trained. 
  • Minimum required by June 15 for camp to confirm. Payment due upon confirmation of camp. 
  • Placement follows current 2025-2026 season class. Current Preschoolers and Acro 3-5 should take Preschool camp. Ages 5-10 campers should currently be in Kindergarten and 5 by September 2025. Next season placement starts September 2026.
  • Students are welcome to take multiple weeks of camp.

Week 3 Cranston
  • Ages 3-5: Disney

Camp Ages 3-10 How-To:

Drop Off/Pick Up/Parking:
  • Doors will open 5 minutes before each camp for dancers to enter.
  • Ages 3-5 Preschool: parents drop off dancer and pickup at the front lobby.
  • Ages 5-10 Primary/Level 1 & 2 : Parents drop off at the front lobby and pickup at the back door under the red awning. 
  • Waiting room is used by campers and only available to  staff and students.
  • Parking is limited at the studio, please be patient, drive slow and look out for others.  Expect parking to be busy for the last day presentation. Thank you for understanding. 
    • Warwick: Do not block neighbor driveways. No parking or idling in the dive shop or gas station. There is an empty lot across from the dive shop on Community Drive that you can park in temporarily.

Presentations: Last day of camp!
Two parents may attend the presentation.  Remove street shoes in the waiting room. Siblings may come if needed. Photos and video may be taken! Students arrive to camp at the regular time.
Parent Arrival Times:
  • Ages 3-5 - 10:15am
  • Ages 5-10 - 1:15pm

Preparing for Camp:

  • Eat a healthy breakfast.
  • Use the bathroom at home and upon entering Studio if needed before class starts
  • Arrive wearing tights, leotard, hair pulled back neatly and securely (preferably a bun, braids welcome). See dress code below for specifics.
  • Remove all jewelry before arrival. (Only small stud earrings allowed only. Other jewelry will be removed by staff and CDDS not responsible for missing items.)
  • Put dancer's name on all belongings - shoes, dance bag, water bottle, etc. See below for what to bring.
  • Please let us know in advance if there is anything we should know specific to your dancer that would help us best support their education and experience with us :)

What to Bring:
Ages 3-5 Preschool-  Arrive wearing ballet shoes inside slides or bring in small bag with tap shoes.  One healthy nut allergy friendly snack and small sealable water bottle.
Ages 5-10-  Arrive wearing ballet shoes inside slides or bring in small bag with:
  • Primary: Tap shoes
  • Level 1-2: Jazz and Tap shoes, black  leggings or athletic shorts
  • One healthy nut allergy friendly snack and small sealable water bottle.

Dress Code
  • Pull hair back neatly and securely preferably in a bun, or in braids or neat ponytail
  • Dancers do not wear underwear underneath  dance wear. Tights are an undergarment.
  • No jewelry besides small stud earrings (no hoops, necklaces, rings, bracelets).
  • No skirts/tutus

Ages 3-5, 5-7 (Preschool & Primary)
Girls:                                            
  • Capezio short sleeve light blue leotard (no skirts or ruffle sleeves attached)
  • Capezio ballet pink transition tights
  • So Danca full sole ballet shoes leather (Pink40) *These shoes do not have the tie elastics.
