Dance Camps 2025

Dance, music and arts & crafts designed around a theme make for a fun and educational time at CDDS vacation dance camps! Something for all dancers ages 3-11.  A great way to continue dance skills over vacation with a bunch of fun activities including a performance for families on the last day! Camps are held in February, April and Summer.
Must be potty trained.

April Open Gym, Ages 12m-5y

Tuesday, April 15, 9:30am-1:30pm & Wednesday April 16, 9:30am-1:30pm
CDDS Warwick Studio (1945 Warwick Ave)
$12/child (includes 1 adult, required)
Register ahead to secure your spot or drop-in, pending availability. Come anytime 9:30am-1:30pm and stay as long as you like!
April Preschool Campers save $5 and join after camp.

A fun, unstructured playtime where little ones can explore and move at their own pace! This is not a teacher-led class—parents/guardians must supervise their children at all times. A great way for kids to burn energy, develop motor skills, and have fun in a safe, interactive space! Stay as long as you'd like!

Our open gym features:

  • Tunnels & Climbing Structures – Encourage exploration and active play
  • Soft Play & More – A variety of engaging activities

No eating in the Studio.

April Dance Camp

Ages 5-7 (Primary) 10:45am-1:45pm, $135
Ages 7-11 (Level 1 & up)  10:45am-1:45pm, $135

Dance, music and arts & crafts designed around "Trip to Oz" theme make for a fun and educational time at CDDS  3-Day April Vacation Dance Camps! Something for all dancers ages 3-11.  A great way to make dance friends and continue their skills over vacation with a bunch of fun activities! Camp culminates with a presentation - two guests per dancer are invited!

Minimum required by March 18 for camp to confirm. Payment due upon confirmation of camp. Age by September 1. Placement by 2024-2025 season class.

Camp How-To:

Drop Off/Pick Up/Parking:
  • Doors will open 5 minutes before each camp. 
  • Preschool: parents can drop off dancer and pick up at the back door at the end of camp, or wait in the front waiting room. Viewing of class is not available.
  • Ages 5-11: parents drop off dancer and pickup at the back door at the end of camp. Waiting room is used by campers and only available to  staff and students.
  • Enter front door, exit back door under red awning. 
  • Please meet your dancer at the back door under the red awning for pick up. Do not block neighbor driveways. No parking or idling in the dive shop or gas station. There is an empty lot across from the dive shop on Community Drive that you can park in temporarily..
  • Parking is limited at the studio, please be patient and look out for those walking.  Expect parking to be busy for the last day presentation. Thank you for understanding.

Presentations: Last day of camp!
Two parents may attend the presentation.  Remove street shoes in the waiting room. Siblings may come if needed. Photos and video may be taken! Students arrive to camp at the regular time.
Parent Arrival Times:
  • Ages 3-5 - 10:15am
  • Ages 5-7 - 1:15pm
  • Ages 7-12 - 1:15pm

Preparing for Camp:

  • Eat a healthy breakfast.
  • Use the bathroom at home and upon entering Studio if needed before class starts
  • Arrive wearing tights, leotard, hair pulled back neatly and securely (preferably a bun, braids welcome). See dress code below for specifics.
  • Remove all jewelry before arrival. (Only small stud earrings allowed only. Other jewelry will be removed by staff and CDDS not responsible for missing items.)
  • Put dancer's name on all belongings - shoes, dance bag, water bottle, etc. See below for what to bring.
  • Please let us know in advance if there is anything we should know specific to your dancer that would help us best support their education and experience with us :)

What to Bring:
Ages 3-5-  arrive wearing ballet shoes inside slides or bring in small bag with tap shoes. no other items needed, no water bottles or food.
Ages 5-7-  arrive wearing ballet shoes inside slides or bring in small bag with:
  • Tap shoes
  • ONE healthy non crumbly/nut-free snack (please check ingredients to help keep our dancers safe)
  • water bottle with an attached lid (doesn't spill in dance bag)
Ages 7-12-  arrive wearing ballet shoes inside slides or bring in small bag with:
  • Tap and jazz shoes
  • solid black jazz shorts or jazz pants
  • ONE healthy non crumbly/nut-free snack 
  • water bottle with an attached lid (doesn't spill in dance bag)
 
Dress Code
  • Pull hair back neatly and securely preferably in a bun, or in braids or neat ponytail
  • Dancers do not wear underwear underneath  dance wear. Tights are an undergarment.
  • No jewelry besides small stud earrings (no hoops, necklaces, rings, bracelets).
  • No skirts/tutus

Ages 3-7 (Preschool/Primary)
Girls:                                            
  • Capezio short sleeve light blue leotard (no skirts or ruffle sleeves attached)
  • Capezio ballet pink transition tights
  • So Danca full sole ballet shoes leather (Pink40) *These shoes do not have the tie elastics.
  • Capezio black patent leather tap shoes
  • (Optional) Plain light pink knit Ballet shrug (no tassels, things hanging off etc.) + calf leg warmers (Leg warmers should be light pink to match tights, plain knit with no tassels, flowers, things hanging off, etc.)
Boys: White T-shirt or long sleeve in winter, Black athletic pants or shorts in warm weather, Black ballet shoes, Black tap shoes, Hair neatly out of face

Ages 7-12 (Level 1 & up)
Girls:
  • Solid Black Leotard (cap short sleeve or long sleeve only)
  • Capezio transition tights pink or tan
  • So Danca split sole ballet slippers leather pink (SD-60L)
  • Capezio jazz shoes caramel (EJ2-C)
  • Capezio Mary Jane tap shoes Caramel (3800)
  • (Optional for Jazz/Tap) Solid black high waisted dance/compression shorts or leggings (no writing/rhinestones/etc.)

Something for all dancers ages 3-11.  A great way to make dance friends and continue their skills over vacation with a bunch of fun activities! Camp culminates with a presentation - two guests per dancer are invited!

Week 1:
