Celebrate Our Dancers! The CDDS Banquet honors our dancers’ dedication, creativity & love for dance!

Awards & Recognitions:
  • 5+ Years at CDDS awarded Medallion
  • 10+ Years at CDDS awarded Trophy
  • Special Awards & Scholarships 
  • Banana Split Club & National Honors Society Inductions
  • All attending dancers are eligible for Special Awards!

Grand March & Student Showcase Performance:
  • Grand March is a community routine that unites CDDS dancers in celebration studio spirit.
  • Student Showcase is a presentation of student-choreographed routines, giving dancers the chance to create and perform small-group pieces that showcase creativity and teamwork.

Event Details:
  • Grand March dancers arrive 30 minutes early 
  • Doors open 15 minutes early for all attendees to be seated
  • Photos & video welcome
  • No food will be served. No food or drink permitted in auditorium.
  • No helium balloons
  • Visit our merch table in the lobby!
  • If unable to attend, awards will be presented in class.

National Honor Society for Dance Arts (NHSDA) 

  • Inductions take place at both banquets.

  • All Honors dancers attend and perform the routine in both banquets.

  • Dancers only need a ticket to their Banquet (Rec or Company)

  • Rehearsals TBD. Scheduled: Saturday March 21 5:15-5:45pm @ Warwick Studio

Your chance to team up with dance friends, explore creativity, and show what inspires you in dance! Dancers work together in small groups on their own time to develop choreography, teamwork, and artistic expression. Have fun and let your creativity shine


Eligibility:
  • Students with 5+ years at CDDS
  • Groups of 2 or more dancers (We encourage groups larger than two to include more dancers as we can’t accept all routines due to time restraints and show artistry.)
  • All dancers must be present at the audition

Routine Requirements:
  • Max length: 1 minute, 30 seconds
  • Family-appropriate music & movements (Read lyrics and discuss song meaning)
  • Original student choreographed routine
  • One submission per dancer. Except NHSDA dancers may audition a second routine in addition to the large group routine
  • Routine must be auditioned as it would be performed: well-rehearsed, full costume, hair, makeup

Tickets

On Sale: January 4 - February 1, 2026 - via Banquet Order Form coming soon

  • $13 per ticket (processing fee included)

  • Recreational dancers need a ticket. Company dancers’ ticket was included with enrollment fees.

  • Children 1 & under are free (sit on lap).

  • Credit card on file will be charged as orders are processed by Feb 6.

  • Show your email receipt at the door as your ticket

  • General seating (Reserved seating for graduate families). Grand March dancers sit together

  • No refunds

  • Tickets available until sold out - order early!

Open to Level 1-5 + Hip Hop 7-12  dancers (all years welcome)! 


Rehearsal: Saturday March 21, 2026 4:15-5:15pm @ Warwick Studio

  • Strongly encouraged to attend

  • Routine learned in classes leading up to Banquet.


Banquet Day

  • Arrive 30 minutes early for rehearsal on stage

  • Attire: Red CDDS shirt, black leggings, black socks & shoes.

  • Company & Honors Society mandatory participation. Select NHSDA dancers in both banquets.

5+ Year Awards

  • Dancers with 5+ years at CDDS will receive a medal, 10+ years also get a trophy.

  • If unable to attend, award will be presented in class.
