Military Family Invitation:
Miss Carolyn and staff are honored to invite military members of our CDDS dance family to march with their dancer and family in the Cranston Veterans Day Parade.

Military Family Invitation:
Miss Carolyn and staff are honored to invite military members of our CDDS dance family to march with their dancer and family in the Cranston Veterans Day Parade.

- We would be honored for military members to march in uniform.
- Military families arrive by 11:15am.
- Family members may dress in patriotic theme clothing, CDDS gear or as dressed up as you'd like!
- Rhythmette, Junior, Senior dancers are performing and must remain with their group. Closed Class/Preparatory/Pee Wee dancers may walk with their military family group at the front of our section.
Arrival - All Company and military families:
- Doric Avenue, cone # TBD, near the Doric Ave Field at the corner of Arthur Street and Doric Avenue. Look for CDDS group!
- Company dancers arrive at 11am.
- Military families arrive by 11:15am.

Pickup - All Company
- TBD near Cranston City Hall
- There is a ceremony following the parade at the monument. We ask that parents please pick up their dancer immediately following the parade and respectfully stay for the ceremony.
- If a student is not being dismissed to their own parent, please fill out THIS FORM by 11/8. We must know in advance for safety reasons.
Note:
- We send notice via email and post on social media 5pm the night before if we must cancel due to inclement weather. We do march in a sprinkle pending temperatures :)
- If you have epi pen or inhaler, but in ziplock labeled with your name and give to staff to keep in truck.
- Do not bring anything extra with you. Layer underneath for warmth!

- Dress in patriotic theme clothing, CDDS gear or as dressed up as you'd like!
Closed Class, Preparatory, Pee Wee Companies:
- CDDS warmup jacket with warm black layers on underneath!
- October warmup order will arrive in December. If you need a jacket let us know by 11/1 so we can get one to borrow.
- All Black leggings
- Black layers underneath for warmth. (Ex. tan tights, long sleeve black leotard, long sleeve black shirt/turtleneck, black fleece jacket, etc.)
- Black sneakers (a little white sole/logo is fine)
- Black socks
- White ear warmer headband - similar to this
- White gloves (can be from a past costume or winter gloves)
- Low bun, center part, slicked back
- Stage makeup (eyeshadow, mascara, blush, red lipstick)
- Rhinestone performance earrings
Rhythmette, Junior and Senior Company:
- DFA costume. No headpiece.
- Short white gloves. Can be purchased at Competitors Closet or LaBrie. (costume gloves, not winter gloves)
- Camisole
- Tan tights (wear two pair of cold)
- Parade socks & Sneakers
- White, low cut, canvas, tie sneakers. Click Here for reference

- Low bun, center part, slicked back
- Stage makeup, false eyelashes (eyeshadow, mascara, blush, red lipstick)
